This is no toy. It is not built for speed! It's built for stealth and very useful in covert operations, covert support or even just general support. Commanders may also enjoy the publicly lower profile this style of product offers. The same is also applicable to security industry personnel who just simply don't want something on the dash. The product is very well suited to the larger type vehicles, such as larger 4WD/AWD, vans, buses and trucks. Especially, in vehicles with flat high slope windows where a standard dash-mounted light is basically useless. It is not recommended for very small vehicles because of a passenger's head height needs. *** Vehicles with extra high visors (eg Nissan X Trail) can be accommodated with the purchase of Velcro strips of a suitable size and quality from a haberdashery/craft store (eg Spotlight or Lincraft), at the buyers expense. The Velcro can be firmly sewn (at least 24 mm overlap with strong square and diagonal stitching) to the required length as an extension. However, this would be deemed an alteration to the strap and be outside of warranty for the strap; at your own risk. It can be done relatively easily but you as the purchaser need to be aware of this point, if you intend or need to make such alterations. Red colour is clearly visible on a bright sunny day at 12 noon to over 250 metres (Blue 175~190 metres being the night colour). At night, it excels. |
